Joe DeCanio, President and CEO
Joe has 25+ years of executive management experience managing businesses and technology organizations in Financial Services, Internet Consulting, Telecommunications, Engineering, Law and now Music. He has a diverse background in Technology Product Development, Business Consulting, Business Management, and Intellectual Property Law.
Joe has managed the development of Online Business Banking for JP Morgan Chase, an Investment Banking Portal for Merrill Lynch, Internet Consulting Operations for Internet startup Proxicom Inc, an Italian joint venture with Ericsson Telecomunicazioni, Engineering projects for AT&T, Verizon and the US Army, and litigated patent infringement law suits for Lockheed Martin.
Joe was born an Engineer, made himself a Lawyer, evolved into a Manager, and now has found his true calling running a technology start up in the music industry.
Dave Tomaselli, Executive Director of Business development
Dave’s has 18+ years of experience in the music industry managing both business and technology at various record labels, publishers, music distributors, and PR firms, including Industrial Strength Records, Mute Records, Northcott Productions, Watts Music, Girlie Action Media, and Statra Recordings, a label he founded in 1999 with Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA).
Since 2005 Dave has overseen the integration and implementation of Backlash’s SR1 system at over 50 independent music companies in 7 countries.
Dave is a natural entrepreneur driven by his passion for music and business. His potent blend of energy, creativity, and drive, has made him a sought after confidant and consultant for countless music business and technology projects.
